What is Ultrasonic Cleaning Technology?

Ultrasonic cleaning is performed using very high frequency sound waves (in this device – 45kHz). When these frequencies are transmitted through water, they create a phenomenon called cavitation – the creation of microscopic bubbles that explode and create local energy that removes dirt, oils, scale and bacteria even from very small areas such as crevices, cracks or inaccessible areas.

 What does UV technology add?

The device also includes a UV (ultraviolet) bulb – mainly at the UV-C frequency – which is known to be effective in destroying bacteria, viruses, fungi and microorganisms. The radiation damages the bacteria’s DNA, rendering it unable to reproduce or survive.
