The cream also contains picosaccharide, an ingredient extracted from algae that provides protection against air pollution and environmental factors. Another active ingredient in the product (PEPHA-AGE) is extracted from a single-celled microscopic algae. This ingredient protects the skin from blue light damage. Blue light is everywhere, blue light sources include digital screens (TV, computers, smartphones, tablets), electronic devices and LED lamps.
The PEPHA-AGE component protects against free radicals and slows down skin aging processes that are accelerated by exposure to blue light. The component works to even out skin tone, accelerates collagen synthesis and improves skin barrier function. The cream also contains a combination of sunscreens.
