What is Ultrasonic Cleaning technology?
Ultrasonic cleaning is performed using high-frequency sound waves (in this device – 45kHz). When these frequencies are transmitted through water, they create a phenomenon called Cavitation – the creation of microscopic bubbles that burst and create local energy that removes dirt, oils, scale, and bacteria even from very small areas such as grooves, cracks, or inaccessible areas.
What does UV technology add?
The device also includes a UV (ultraviolet) lamp – primarily in the UV-C frequency – known to be effective for destroying bacteria, viruses, fungi, and microorganisms. The radiation damages the DNA of the bacteria, making it unable to reproduce or survive.
